Bow Arts Trust was established as an Arts and Educational charity in 1995 by Marcel Baettig.

Based across the East End of London the Trust provides a wide range of affordable support services for artists, allowing them to create their work in an affordable and sustainable environment whilst also creating access to the arts and artists through our comprehensive and inclusive education project and our contemporary art gallery the Nunnery.

Bow Arts Trust is a self sustaining model that proves the arts can support themselves and thrive! We provide over 200 affordable studios for artists and over 70 Live Work / Work Live units for artists across East London.

Bow Arts Trust is also the proud sponsor of www.londonsartistquarter.org. East London boasts the largest number of artists and arts organisations living and working together in any capital city in the world!

Well known for our lively and affordable studios we offer a range of studios and opportunities to over 90 artists in the heart of the East End of London.	The Nunnery Gallery is an important cultural landmark and an exciting venue promoting quality and access in the arts.	We reach over 20,000 young people every year through our in schools and community programme, creating exciting learning opportunities and innovative projects.
