Raw Materials

Raw Materials is an on-going series of research projects and exhibitions that explore the industrial history of the River Lea Valley through the ‘raw materials’ of its past. Raw Materials: Wood ran at the Nunnery Gallery from April-June 2017 and we hope to unveil plans for Raw Materials: Textiles soon.

Project Manager: Raw Materials Textiles

Bow Arts has received funding to run Raw Materials: Textiles, a community and arts project focusing on the industry of textiles in the River Lea Valley.

We are looking for a dedicated and creative Project Manager to oversee the delivery of Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) funded project Raw Materials: Textiles, a unique and community driven activity. The role will suit an individual with an interest in heritage and / or textiles, excellent organisational and liaison skills and the ability to work within a local community or experience of working with community groups / local residents.
