Bow Road Studios

Bow Arts offers a wide range of affordable studios for visual artists at its well established location on Bow Road, E3.  We have two, large, adjacent buildings which house 90 artist studio spaces with close to 120 artists.  The Nunnery and Bow Art’s Education and Learning offices are also housed in the same complex.

The studios cover a wide range of sizes and are suitable for a wide range of different practices.

There are self contained spaces as well as semi open plan spaces shared by groups of several artists.  The community, and its physical spaces, has evolved organically over the last 15 years in response to artists’ changing needs.

These basic studios are popular with both emerging and more established artists who want to be part of the artistic community and take advantage of the opportunities created within Bow Arts. Our lively Open Studios programme is renowned as the busiest of all in London.

"I've never had so many visitors to my studios before... I've had more visitors in the last weekend than in my 5 years in my precious studio."
