In ‘Critical Mass’2007, the sculpture is formed by a heavily modelled surface, where the troughs and peaks of its topography become part of a modular template and the wax casts replicate themselves enveloping and forming the entirety of the surface.
‘Celestial Mechanics’ 2008 has its genesis within the structure of the wall that holds its image. The image augments the fabric of the reality that holds it, opening up the structure and burrowing deep within the core, to extend itself to a tropical haven but never allowing the viewer to get there.
